Black To Business joins Da Spot NYC during Black History Month
BROOKLYN, NY, February 7, 2023 – Black To Business, a business formation and education platform for Black entrepreneurs, is joining forces with Da Spot NYC (“DA SPOT”), a unique fashion boutique featuring 25+ creative brands by people of color, in the month of February.
This partnership will extend through Black History Month and provides a space and the opportunity for Black To Business to showcase original merchandise in-store and online.
“Expanding the apparel line has been something we wanted to be intentional about this year!” said Black To Business founder and Chief-In-Charge Monique T. Marshall. “We are thrilled to be able to engage with our community through this in-person shopping experience. Embarking on this unique journey was a learning curve for me, but Da Spot’s Founding team (Michelle, Face, and Tyler) have been so supportive. They truly understand what community building is all about.”
Da Spot NYC, a canvas for creativity, connects, inspires, and celebrates Black voices shaping culture today. The business emerged in 2017 and engages with the community through panels, workshops, art shows, and live performances. In 2019 it collaborated with DUMBO Business Improvement District to introduce an annual festival series, DEAR SUMMER VIBES NYC: A Celebration of the Creative Culture.
“DA SPOT NYC is always excited to collaborate with brands that exemplify forward movement for Black culture. Black To Business has been exceptional at capturing our voices and creativity, and it is a wonderful addition to our boutique,” said Michelle Cadore, owner and Co-founder of Da Spot NYC.
Black To Business will host a Sip & Shop at Da Spot NYC on Saturday, February 11th, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. DA SPOT is located at CITY POINT BKLYN, 445 Albee Square W, Brooklyn, NY 11201
