JaMor Johnson named Chief of Growth & Innovation of Black To Business

January 3, 2o23; New York City – Black to Business is pleased to announce that after a comprehensive search JaMor Jonson has been welcomed in as Chief of Growth & Innovation effective immediately.

“JaMor is a big thinker and has a no-quitter approach to solving problems, just the person we want to ensure our audience is well served now and in the years ahead,” said Black to Business’s Chief-In-Charge Monique T. Marshall.

“I am a huge fan of the mission at Black to Business. I feel seen, I feel heard, and I am honored to accept the responsibilities and challenges that will come with this position,” said Johnson

Black to Business has consulted with Johnson and his creative agency, thecreativebrutha, in the past on a few projects in the past including their Black Men Who Lead series which highlights Black businessmen, leaders, and innovators. It’s a series they are planning to reintroduce later in the year! He has been a longtime advocate for Black entrepreneurship and creating non-toxic working environments.

Before coming to Black to Business, Johnson navigated the DC restaurant scene focusing on training and operations with several brands like Thompson Hospitality, Mindful Restaurants Group, Clover Restaurant Group, and Rappahannock Oyster Company. He is the co-founder of Jerk At Nite, a Jamaican-infused eatery in the DMV Metropolitan Area.

Johnson studied Marketing at Howard University and is a Kentucky Governor’s Scholar.
